Business Analyst – Data warehousing

My Client is seeking a Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business users and technical teams, with a strong understanding of data flows, data modelling, ETL processes, reporting requirements, data quality, and enterprise data warehouse environments.

You will

• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document data, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, data mapping documents, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse source systems, data flows, data definitions, and reporting outputs to support the design and delivery of data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, BI developers, testers, and project teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
• Support data warehouse initiatives involving ETL processes, data integration, dimensional modelling, data marts, reporting layers, and business intelligence platforms.
• Document current-state and future-state data processes, identifying gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Support data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and testing activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Assist with test planning, UAT coordination, defect triage, business sign-off, implementation readiness, and post-go-live support.
